So Thursday morning arrived and as I ate my porridge I realized I should be nervous about manning a stand at the Bradford Grid Expo due to start at 10am but half an hour of Classic FM on the drive in and I was raring to go. During set up it was good to see friends and clients old and new milling around the hall with a nervous shuffle.

10am arrived, the doors opened and Rochester and Associates found itself in the middle of a busy exhibition with people such as Bradford Kickstart, Business Link and service providers such as HSBC, a couple of marketing companies, accountants and HR consultancies.

The diversity of backgrounds from those that came to say hello was astonishing, health care professionals, management and lettings companies, new start ups, in fact every walk of business life you could imagine. It was great to see some existing clients there too and a flush of pride sped through my veins when one existing client extolled our virtues to a prospective client.

All in all a busy day with many people not realizing we did all the other bits, as well as IT Support. I must say lunch was not bad either although not being originally from Bradford having a curry before 10pm was a new experience.
