Big meeting
Just had a big meeting with about 30 landlords, a presentation for a new website about to launch.
It never fails to amaze me the the interest (or lack of), people have in all things tech.
There never seems to be a take it or leave it kind of attitude, its always a love or hate scenario…
Also had Murphys Law proved again – demo a website just as you lose the internet connection
Had a great time rerouting the network at Weetwood Hall. They asked me for a business card too, possibly pick up some business from somebodies mistake :)
Business comes from the strangest angles sometimes
**BIG TIP**
ALWAYS carry business cards with you
you never know when you need them

SNOW!!!!
It’s snowing
Makes the whole task of providing service bloody difficult.
Loonies on the road and the local councils inability to provide proper gritting / road clearing etc. Two topics which seem to get worse every year.
I live near a school – school mums are, in general, stupid in the extreme, inconsiderate and totally out of control of their cars.
Might be some fun from the snow after all!! (We have also gained a new traffic warden, who, it seems, likes to hang around outside this particular school ticketing idiots!!!
– never thought i’d be glad to see a traffic warden
)
Time to brave to rigours of the outside world :twisted:

It works!
I think the feeling you get as a techie, when things work correctly, as you expected, AND the client is impressed, are the most worthwhile
“I love it when a plan comes together”
- Hannibal Smith (The ‘A’ Team)
(Can’t believe i’m quoting the ‘A’ team
)
Here’s hoping to more and more success…
Now if only i could figure out what client ‘X’ REALLY wants…

Guess What?
Guess what – never got my day off after all!
Blummin typical – as said to get away i need to go away…
Oh what it is to be a man in demand.
Off for a meal and alchol…
