Finally we have our own space for the company.
Hopefully we won’t have to work form the spare room, no more! :)

Got the majority of things moved over on Thursday, with the rest of the stuff (files etc) going over as we progress…

You’ll be glad to know we are have fun with BT (rapidly getting even LOWER in my poor opinion of them)

For the next couple of days we are going retroactive!
No – not 1000′s of rads and Geiger counters (or Russian spies!) – That’s radioactive.
We are only offering our fire fighting skills to clients in need of help over this festive period.

Personally I’m intending to be relaxed and calm for a bit – It’ll make a nice change :)

Moving to the new office on Thursday next (hopefully)
BT in their wisdom, can’t get lines into there until Jan 15th
Typical BT!

Just finished the Christmas shop at our local Asda.
Got there at 11:57, only to see a couple of parents with their small children!
SHOULDN’T THEY BE IN BED!!!!!
Surely one parent could have stayed at home with them??
Sheesh!

Finally got to the queues at the end – plenty busy – the store manager closes about 4 tills
Grr…

Just got seriously annoyed at one of our suppliers.

What does the phrase ‘In stock’ actually mean?
To me it means in stock!!! i.e. physically at the suppliers warehouse.

Our survey says — Uh Uhhh

What it seems to mean to this particular supplier is, that the product is actually at a warehouse available for next day delivery.

Client wants to get his girlfriend a present for Christmas – “It’s ok” says I, “It’s in stock at the suppliers”
Now the poor guy cannot get this from us, meaning he’s going to seriously lose faith in us.

Time to look for a new supplier

A morning meeting with a “while you are here, can you just…”
Met a client setting up a call centre, for whom we are working in conjunction with a telecoms guy.

Previous to this she had called to say she couldn’t burn a CD with data.

“Could you have a quick look at my laptop..? It’s still not burning”
“Ok… ”
She had tried numerous times, without success, to burn this bloomin disc.

Simon boots the PC
Fires up the “Write files to disc wizard”
Waits patiently for the writing process to complete. (Disc ejects on completion)
Inserts disc and verifies files
Perfect!

The magic fingers strike again!!!

It’s the morning thing tomorrow…
Bad feelings await…

Actually – he says looking at the clock – technically it’s now Friday
Anyway…

Just your regular day today, config a laptop for the network; Drop off some software (anti-virus) to a client; And a proactive visit to a client who didn’t even know she had a problem

ooooh we are good

Better go to bed – It was my GFs staff night out tonight. She’s a little worse for wear :)
