Sometimes my head just refuses to work. This is usually first thing in the morning.
This morning was bad

Woke up (late) and headed for the shower – stood in the bathroom for a while whilst i remembered why I had gone there – remembered and got in the shower.
Got out of the shower, got some shower gel, and got back into the shower.
Tried to wash my hair with shower gel.
Washed my hair with shampoo.
Decided to have a shave – no cuts
Got out of the shower and got dressed.
Got as far as socks, pants and trousers before I remembered I probably needed to wash myself – got back into the shower, got washed.
Finally got to work about 20 minutes late :oops:

I think today is an exrta careful day

I’ll admit to being a little slack lately, with the posting that is…

I have to enter today, the clandestine world of Cisco managed switches. This is indeed a black art within the maelstrom that is the IT industry.
Terms like “terminal emulation” and “port spanning” are now deeply etched into the surface of my brain.

Could be worse i suppose!

Anyhow…

Generally this week has been quite quiet really, just doing the usual stuff.
It does just happen to be the best August we have ever had though – This is traditionally a quiet time for us.

The past couple of weeks have been a bit mental – i’ve been running around to all four corners of the universe!
Well, perhaps I may have exaggerated a little

It’s been a mad fortnight, and I’m a little tired
It’s now Friday at about 4 PM and I’m sipping a cool beer in front of this PC, soon to be bound for the garden to soak up some solar rads :)

I take a while off – Tor was brilliant BTW – and everybody and his dog wants me

Went to Cleckheaton for a meeting with a potential new client,
Went to Leeds to ‘play’ with Macros’ on a Office 2007 PC
Went to Wetherby to install some memory and web monitoring software

good mileage claim :) Looooong day

It’s the weekend now though – time for bed
