Today we had an unusual call from one of our customers
they had received a call from somebody, claiming that one of our customer’s suppliers had gone into administration and that at 16:00 their services would be cancelled
WHAT??????
Luckily we know the supplier very well and we called them – it was the first they had heard about it too
:shock:
As it turns out, the supplier had fallen out with this other company, who then decided to call the suppliers customers and throw a big spanner in the works.
I cannot believe the gall of some people – now there is NO way that there will be any reconciliation and the legal vultures are circling.
The bad thing about this is that the guy who actually provides the services is a really nice guy, who appears to have just been well and truly shafted
Decorum forbids me venting – suffice to say that there are a few choice names for people like this…

Having returned to a LOOOOOOONG list of stuff to do after my bathroom extravaganza, I have actually enjoyed my day :)
Last week I had the pleasure 
of ripping out the bathroom ceiling, removing the disgusting panelling that was there, replacing it with a lovely smooth clean ‘proper’ finish.
And replacing the lights 
Only to have my tiling guy tell me I need a new floor too
What I was hoping would be a small redecoration project has transformed into a rebuild-your-bathroom-yourself project. 
Have I just invented the RYBY acronym?
Spent today doing Tor’s list.
And catching up with the usual internal systems maintenance.
And customer queries.
And upgrading the internal antivirus.
And fixing Tor’s keyboard.
The list goes on…..

That’s the week over – I’m shattered!
Got the next week off – I have to get somewhere on the bathroom redecoration project.
Sometimes I find my motivation to do things like this somewhat lacking. Oddly enough, many small business owners say the same thing. I guess we put our all into running the business and there’s just not much left for other things 
It’s kinda amusing just how many times I decide to have a holiday (that currently is running about 1 week per year!), and end up working late the day before I’m due to go
As an example I started my first outside the office job at 16:00 (4:00 PM to those not with 24h clocks).
I had lots of fun fighting the rush hour traffic home!
Still, I’m home now and off in the bath with a small tipple
