The number of times we tell clients NOT to do something or that it’s not the most cost effective way to do something, which the client subsequently does, is amazing!

Client A, please don’t do this in this way because unless you get it correct from the outset, it’s going to cost more to put right after the event.
Client A does just that.
Client A comes back complaining that the additional stuff missed from the proposal will cost to put in.

I guess we are just not forceful enough!

I also seem to have a special sort of green on my car, which renders it invisible under normal driving conditions.
Saldy this is not the case with speed cameras though. :cry:

This is quite a worry

The simple answer would have been to have had a backup!
No need for “expensive recovery software”.

Networking again this morning – and picked up another couple of Laptops.
That make a cool total of 18 failed laptops since Christmas!

I am now thinking of opening a laptop drop in centre

Not failed to fix one yet though
Lets hope this 100% record this year, continues…

Laptops seem to be the main thrust of business lately – both selling and repairing…

1. Client with wireless woes
Laptop (Only 256mb RAM!!), connecting to Orange broadband through a D-Link router.
Connecting to the router but no Internet
Installed new memory and replaced the router :)

2. Client with popup perils
Spyware infested
Cleaned and updated :)

3. Client with hard drive hardship
Failing hard drive
Replacing the drive, backed her data up on to a DVD for her too :)

Out for a corporate ‘do’ last night, at a local Cypriot restaurant.
Not a bad do, but I’m feeling a little fragile this morning!

Tor got stuck in the traffic on the M621 for ages this afternoon too – not sure why but it looks like the Police closed the road.
Probably due to the flooding we are getting increasingly often.
